The Challenge

Our client is one of the largest insurance and asset management companies in the Netherlands with over 16,000 employees, operated in 11 countries. They recognized the immense value of data and artificial intelligence (AI) for achieving strategic goals, delivering excellent client service, and optimizing processes. In 2020, they sought our assistance to enhance the data and AI awareness and knowledge among all employees.

The organization requested a fully digital learning program composed of various micro-learnings, each five to ten minutes long, focusing on the application of data and AI within the company.

Learning Goals

  • Introduce employees to basic data science terms and methods.
  • Make employees aware of the importance of proper data storage.
  • Highlight how data and AI can improve work quality, make tasks more interesting, and simplify processes.
  • Encourage employees to explore the opportunities data offers to both society and the company.
  • Emphasize the importance of accurate data entry for enhancing data quality.
  • Demonstrate the value of historical data and metadata for pattern recognition and dataset linkability.
  • Ensure employees managing projects or systems understand the need for defining correct metadata to maintain data uniformity and linkability.

Expected Results

  • Employees are familiar with different forms and concepts of data and AI.
  • Employees understand how data and AI will impact their lives and work.
  • Increased employee engagement in discussing the benefits and concerns of data use.
  • Employees recognize how data and AI will influence organizational activities.
  • Employees identify opportunities and applications for data and AI within the company.

Our Solution

Result

The eLearning modules were made available to all employees, through the company’s learning management platform. We received positive feedback from the client, leading to our designation as a preferred supplier. Building on this success, we expanded our offerings to include leadership workshops, further enhancing our partnership with this client.
